Frequently Asked Questions

How early should I arrive for my first appointment?
For first-time patients, it is best to arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out patient forms. You can also print out the form HERE and bring the completed form to your appointment. We can’t wait to see you!
What insurances are accepted at your office?
We accept most dental (PPO) insurances and we are a free-for-service dental office. If you have any concerns, you are always welcome into our dental office, and we can check your benefits for you!
Can I visit your dental office if I do not have dental insurance?

Of course! Everyone is welcome at Excel Dental. We believe that everyone deserves high-quality dental care regardless of their financial situation. We welcome both insurance and uninsured dental patients.

Our office is primarily an out-of-network or “fee-for-service” dental-care provider. This allows us to charge a fair, fixed rate for procedures rather than having to apply extra fees required by third-party insurance companies. Whatever your situation and budget, we are dedicated to providing you with straightforward estimates and helping you navigate any financial obstacles you may be facing.

Do you see children at your dental office?

Yes! We are a family-focused dental office. We recommend that children as early as 6 months visit our office so we can take a look at your child’s teeth and work on providing them a positive experience. These 30-minute appointments will help desensitize them to the dental office and introduce them to the importance of dental care at an early age.

Will I be informed of how much treatment costs before I get it done?

Here at Excel Dental, we are committed to our patients. We are always transparent with the services we provide along with how much specific treatments and procedures cost. Our doctors will listen to your concerns, needs, and questions to provide you with a detailed holistic treatment plan along with the recommended options for you to consider. Before any treatment is done, we will always inform you of what is recommended or needed. We are here for you.

How often should I visit the dentist?

We highly recommend that you visit Excel Dental every 6 months to help prevent dental diseases, which includes routine exams (along with low radiation radiographs) and cleanings. Many things in dentistry can be prevented with consistent visits and additional knowledge! We are here to help you with that.

Can you help with dental anxiety?
Absolutely! We are here to help improve your dental care. We know that going to the dentist may be intimidating, and we want to make sure that you take on this journey together with us. Our staff members are understanding, compassionate, and thoughtful. We are dedicated to prioritizing YOUR dental experience. We also offer soothing amenities including essential oils, blankets, neck pillows and more to provide a relaxing and comfortable environment.
Do you offer emergency appointments?
Whether you are a current patient of ours or you have never been to our office before, you can make same-day appointments to get reliable, high-quality emergency dental care. We understand that unexpected things may happen in life, and sometimes they are stressful and intimidating. We will be here for you to help with your dental needs.
